What Happens After Your Offer Is Accepted In Real Estate? 

Congratulations. Your offer was accepted on your house.

Now, what do you do?

And when I'm representing a buyer, I always like to include a final walkthrough.

So this is a great way to go back and see the house get those exciting feels again, take measurements, but also make sure that especially if it's closer to closing, that the house is left in good condition, but also that you're buying the appliances that you paid for and that you had in your contract.

So this is a great place and time to do that.

And you don't want to miss that opportunity by not having that in your agreement of purchase and sale.

If you can allow for it, the main bulk of getting your offer accepted between getting your offer accepted and actually taking possession does have to do with the lender, the mortgage broker as well as the lawyer.

But as a realtor, I'm always around for you with any questions, concerns or you want to share your excitement.

But what's different with Ottawa too in comparison to other cities that we don't actually transfer the keys.

I'm not there to give you the key on closing date, which is a good time for us to see each other again.

And then I always love doing a little pop by once my clients are settled in.

Get to see them again.

Get to see what they've done with their home and just overall get those fun feels.
