Timing Can Make Or Break it All

Timing can make or break it all when it comes down to real estate—from a missed opportunity to seizing that perfect moment. ⏱️

I'm Chelsea Hamre with the Hamre Team at RE/MAX here in Ottawa. 💼

And we're seeing this consistently in the Ottawa real estate market where multiple offers are happening with maybe one extra offer.

📈 So a total of two, maybe even three and it can be a difference in timing that could seal it all and that happened to my clients.

🏠 But on the listing side over the weekend, we had a total of three offers, two were in play at the same time, and one we let go wasn't really our offer to deal with.

❌ But when it came down to the second to the last two, the first people that came back that morning, they saw it earlier in the week and had they brought us an offer sooner.

🌅 They probably would have gotten the home. Lucky for us and well played on our part too and well managed on our part of holding things and making sure that we were doing right by our clients.

💪 We ended up getting two very great offers.

💰 And the one person that got it, saw it that day took the opportunity, brought us a fantastic offer and that's the one that we ended up wanting to work with.

💼 But at the end of the day, I did feel bad for that one person that saw it earlier in the week and a lot of the feedback on this specific property was that they liked it, but they just wanted to see more or they weren't ready.

🏡 They were just in the beginning of the search.

🕵️‍♂️ So again, timing can make or break it all.

⏳ So if you're looking to purchase your home, your next home, if you're looking to upsize into luxury, if you're looking to become a first-time homeowner, if you're looking to downsize, we do it all.

🏠 But timing is definitely of the essence and we want to capitalize on what we know will be the best home for you, reach out!

🌟 I'm Chelsea Hamre with the Hamre Team and we'll talk to you soon. Take care. 👋
