Back To School Season Has Begun

👀If you're like me, you've already seen those back-to-school flyers, kids are out buying binders, pencils, and a new backpack. 🎒📚

And we're seeing that in the Ottawa real estate market as well. 🏢📈

At this time of year, everybody is aiming to get their closings in before Labour Day weekend or at least on Labour Day weekend. ⏳🏠

And at the latest, the first of October, which is Thanksgiving, they want to beat the snow. ☃️❄️

They really want to be registered in a new school and all set. 📝🏫

Right now, we have lots of relocation buyers still coming in, still looking for homes, and hoping to be in and have their kids registered. 🏠👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

If you're thinking of selling, we can have your house listed and sold before Thanksgiving and possibly before Labuor Day weekend. 🏡🍂

There are still four weeks to go. ⏳📅

If you are thinking of buying, you have less competition at this time of year because there's fewer people buying. 🏡💼

The buyer pool has purchased. 💰🏠

So less competition, a little more flexibility on choosing your price point, your closing date, maybe your deposits a little bit less, and working with the conditions that suit you. 💪💰💼

This is a great time to be on the market to make something happen in 2023. 🎉📅
