A shifting market is not a crashing market, and here's why.

The next 45 days will have great opportunity in the Ottawa Real Estate Market.

I'm Chelsea Hamre from the Hamre Team at RE/MAX Affiliates here in Ottawa, and the first snowfall just happened last week.

What that means is, well sellers that are on the market, you're ready to move, you're ready to sell, and you're probably not thinking about shoveling anymore. 

Buyers, you have 45 days to look at what inventory is out there and get and achieve your goal of buying your home in 2023, which is huge.

This kind of year, you also have an opportunity to be a bit more flexible with your closing data.

Whether you need something that's really quick, like within the end of the year or you're looking to close within next year. The last four deals I did all close in 2023.

So that's a good way to be able to get in the market now, lock this interest rate in and buy at a lower price point.

At the end of the day, you can always change your rate and if you're waiting for the media to let you know when it's a good time to buy, it's always all about you.❕

It's really when the great time is for you. So, if you're looking to buy or sell before Christmas or before the end of 2022.
